This is a 1925 Movie Advertising Glass Slide advertising a new movie called “Midnight Watch” starring Roy Stewart, David Torrence, Mary McAllister, Ernest Hillard and Marcella Arnold. It was directed by Charles Hunt. Roy Stuart was a Hollywood cowboy star with controversial personal tabloids. Mary McAllister was a blooming new star starting career at 6 years old. This was a silent movie starring established actors of the period. Roy Stewart was an established Hollywood actor & a tabloid favorite of wild escapades and Mary McAllister new was child star starring in 36 more silent movies by age 18. These old glass slides were made in black and white and hand accented with color. During intermission they were displayed to advertise the next movie. Size is 4 x 3 inch and hand printed when it was coming to theater. These old movie slides are seldom found with actors of this class and this one is truly a piece of movie history. Collectors of movie memorabilia will find this a highlight to their collection.
