This is a 1926 Movie Advertising Glass Slide advertising a new movie called “Hurricane” starring Alice Lake, Stuart Holmes and Jack Richardson. It was directed by Fred Caldwell. Stuart Holmes was a Hollywood star that never turned down a script and Alice Lake was truly an announced new Hollwood star. All actors were famous tabloid stars and today a piece of movie history. This was a silent movie starring two established actors of the period. These old glass slides were made in black and white and hand accented with color. During intermission they were displayed to advertise the next movie. Size is 4 x 3 inch and hand printed when it was coming to theater. These old movie slides are seldom found with actors of this class and this one is truly a piece of movie history. Collectors of movie memorabilia will find this a highlight to their collection.
