This is a 1943 Movie Advertising Glass Slide advertising a new movie called “Mr. Lucky” starring Cary Grant, Laraine Day, Charles Bickford, Gladys Cooper, Alan Carney and Henry Stephenson.. It was directed by H.C. Potter. Cary Grant was a Hollywood leading man for many years. The beautiful Laraine Day began her acting career in 1937 and played many leading lady rolls. This was an early movie with sound, starring established actors of the period. These old glass slides were made in black and white and hand accented with color. During intermission they were displayed to advertise the next movie. Size is 4 x 3 inch and hand printed when it was coming to theater. These old movie slides are seldom found with actors of this class and this one is truly a piece of movie history. Collectors of movie memorabilia will find this a highlight to their collection.
