This treasure is beautiful Mother of Pearl Opera Glasses made by Lamaire FI Paris in excellent condition. Opera Glasses Optics are perfect and Opalescent mother of pearl on barrel and extension is breath taking. It is seldom to find both barrel and extension with same MOP. These date from middle 1800s to early 1900s. Ladies of the period show cased their social stature with expensive jewelry and at the Opera, only the finest glasses that could be purchased.
