These are Civil War Sharp Shooting Glasses used by the best shooter and best rifle in the 1860s. Originally designed to correct floating myopic eyes, they became popular for shooting. They are in good condition with sliding ear loop temples and in coin silver frames. They measure 4.5” across and 6” in length with extensions. The glasses have special tiny amber lenses with frosting on outside to focus on shooting the large Caliber Bullet about to be sent and blasted into opponent. Note – Civil War was only fought during the day and often day brightness required sunglasses or these amber glasses with special focus.
