This is a beautiful 1895 Pill / Tablet Press by Witall Tatum with hand painted accents. The Whitall Tatum Company operated from 1806 to 1938. They were most famous for the glass bottles, jars and vials. They also produced special order prescription bottles for hundreds of pharmacies and of course this seldom found WT Tablet Press. It is 11 inches tall on a 4 x 6” base. It is painted “Whitall Tatum CO.; W.T. CO.; No. 25 Tablet Machine; Pat. July 2, 1895. Weight is 12 lbs. All paint and stenciled gold letter is original.
