This is an early 1900s Wall mount Telephone with nickel plated receiver and Gutta Percha ear & mouth pieces.  There is a bell ringer at top, button on center and electronics for phone at base of wall unit.   Most likely it was used as an apartment telephone that would ring, tenant would answer and press button to let person in.  The telephone has a button to talk built into wood handle.  The wall wood mount and telephone measures 21”.   Handset measures 11” including loop for hanging it on receiver hook.  The wall unit measures 10”.  We are not certain if it works, but is a beautiful display of early telephone technology.
