This is beautiful Rose color Mother of Pearl Opera Glasses made by Iris Paris in excellent condition with original leather case.  They are stamped Iris Paris inside start and also stamped France.  Case has is rough but has preserved this rare treasure in great condition.  Interior of case is purple satin.  Optics are perfect and Opalescent mother of pearl on barrel and extension breath taking.  It is seldom to find extension with same MOP.  These date from middle 1800s to early 1900s.  Ladies of the period show cased their social stature with expensive jewelry and at the Opera, only the finest glasses that could be purchased.  Case size closed is 5” x 3” x 2”.  These Opera Glasses will highlight any collection.
